About the Breed |

Havanese are part of the Bichon canine family, but are a distinct breed admitted to the American Kennel Club in 1995 . Havanese come in all colors and combinations of colors. They are a non shedding, hypoallergenic breed. They are intelligent, energetic and have a even temperament. Pure-bred Havanese should only be purchased from reputable breeders. These charming little dogs were bred as companion animals, and are a very good small breed for families with children. They love to be a part of the family, as well as compete in obedience and agility trials. They are quick to learn tricks and love showing off to friends and family. |
